Program Title
  • Mask Puppet Show "A young man of Hur family & Hahoe mask"
Program Purpose
  • So that Children can understand and know the excellence of Korean culture, through the experience at an early age.
  • Making puppet show as cultural contents, more tourists can visit Hahoe village as high-end tourist destination.
  • Providing an opportunity to children who visit world heritage of Hahoe village to experience interesting sight, Byulsingrut Talnori(Village Ritual) with relation to the cultural heritage.
  • Children can attend & make puppets, after the puppet show & listening legends of a young man of Hur family who made world famous Hahoe mask.
  • Hahoe village provides various visual treats to tourists, including not only general tourists but Dawn-shift people and culture mom who look for spending meaningful time.
  • Develping cultural contents in the village, tourists can get instilled by Hahoe village's attractions including good impression and make them come back again.
The Outline of Performance
  • A reconstructed puppet show, known as village legend surrounding troubles of a young lady and a young man of Hur family who made the tale of Hahoe Byulsingoot.
  • Introducing importance of Hahoe Byulsingoot.
  • Introducing a narration, cartoons, and a video about disaster, happened in according to the legend
  • People can play with dolls at the stage after watching the puppet show.
